Demonstration aluminium extrusion die

This is a small aluminium extrusion die set that Elite Extrusion Die manufactured for a customer for demonstration purposes.

The diameter of the porthole die is 120mm x 100mm thick. Manufactured from H13 steel and heat-treated as if it were a real production die.

Once made, it was then EDM cut in such a way that it can be separated into two or four part. It slides up to reveal the internal details such as welding chamber and mandrel core, etc.

Our customer will now be able to clearly demonstrate how a hole is put into an extrusion profile!

Customer wrote ‘Straight on the nitriding pallet after first trial, no need for correction, nose-end straight lengths OK, all within tolerance. Another one bites the dust!!!

After testing we have now begun to etch all of our tools with our logo symbol.

Today Elite Extrusion Die launched its new logo. The main reason for the change is that we wanted a shape that we can etch onto our die tools.
